3 steps to hear your messages of love and support

It’s good to be able to hear your messages as they make you realise you are never really alone. But how do you go about learning to hear them?

To hear your messages, you will need to find and explore your intuition.
It is through your intuition your messages will arrive.

What is your intuition?  For me this is like an internal radio receiver and sender. It is a communication mechanism we all have which is available for you to use. Contrary to what we may have been taught, we are not designed to be alone but rather to be connected to other people.

There are 3 easy steps to learn to use your intuition;

Step one is to learn to find your centre of inner calmness, usually around the heart area, and see what messages are arriving.

Meditation is a great way to do this but not everyone finds meditation easy. Another way to find your calmness is to go for a walk in nature on your own. If you go with a friend, you will be chatting away or if you are walking the dog you will be distracted. Take just yourself out for a walk. Admire nature, look at the sky, watch a beautiful sunset or look at a lovely view. Don’t think about all the things you need to do or the people you may be worrying about. Just enjoy the moment and without trying your energy will relax. When you feel relaxed take your consciousness to your heart and feel the calmness there. It is a very natural way to find calmness.

Many people just use their intuition naturally and speak of ‘their gut feeling’. Communication is usually by feelings and knowing rather than words. These messages are always positive and uplifting. If they are negative messages, they are probably from your ego and you should stop listening to them.

Step two: Ask a very simple question.

A good question to ask your guide is – what is your name? Remember to ask it from your place of calmness where you have the clarity to hear the reply.

Step three: wait and see if you feel an answer.

For some people it seems to just arrive, for others it can take some practice. Your message can arrive in many ways – a feeling, knowing, a smell or a picture in your head. Most people don’t hear words. The message may not arrive immediately but over the coming days when something jumps out at you such as the words of a song on the radio. Try to be alert to however the message chooses to arrive.

If you are unsure if you understood it correctly, ask the same question another day and if you get the same reply, you have probably heard it correctly.

Enjoy connecting and hearing your messages.

Tomorrow we will talk about how to discern who is talking to you…..
