Our Changing World: Contribute to it being a calmner place

2017 has brought in lots of change for all of us.  On the world stage political leaders are changing, Brexit is being progressed, even Mother Earth is feeling change.  There is much debate on whether there is climate change in process but it is a fact that glaciers and the artic ice is melting.  So something is changing.

Expressing emotions

Are we really separate?

20th century man was adamant that each person is an island and we live our lives in separateness.  In the 21st century we have started to challenge this idea.

Think what it is like to be in a room with a person who is angry or disapproving of you.  It is an uncomfortable place.  You can feel their anger without them even saying a word.  Emotions, especially strong ones, create an aura of energy around the person which you can feel and some people can see.  If we can create and project energy with our minds that others can feel and read, we are not discreet and separate. read more

Amplify the good

Everyone has some good traits in them.  Speak of these good elements and it will amplify them.  When praised for their good traits, individuals will be encouraged to focus on them.  The not so nice elements will then be diminished and will fall away.  In this way you help the individual, yourself and the community you live in.

When you feel overwhelmed; step back, take a few deep breadths and re-assess the situation you find yourself in.  Listening to the calm, rationale voice within you.  It can be enlightening.  You will be surprised at how objective and fair that voice is.  However it can take some diligence to hear the voice over your anger, frustration or fear. read more
