This book is a testimony to the power of hope

Viktor Frankl survived the experience of a concentration camp because he realised that there was an important task he personally needed to complete: the completion of a manuscript he had been working on. He went on to be the founder of logotherapy.

Viktor Frankl claims that you find meaning in life through;

  • work, especially if it’s both creative and aligned with your greater purpose.
  • love, which often shows itself in the service of others.
  • suffering, which is fundamental to the human experience.

Hopefully suffering will not be experienced to the degree of a concentration camp. But there are many types of suffering in every day life including loss of a loved one, disappointment at work, living in difficult relationships. All are potential opportunities to grow.

Hope is a good companion on this journey.
