Life lessons are not about owning big houses or flash cars but about our personal qualities and our ability to relate to others. They may include such lessons as learning to listen to others or defining and holding your boundaries. Our individual life lessons do not come to us neatly catalogued. We must endeavour to understand what they are so we can modify how we handle a challenge to gain a better probability of learning the lesson. Many of the challenges in our lives are not just bad luck but situations we have in a sense asked for to help us learn a lesson.
I believe many of our emotional reactions to individuals, plus illnesses and phobias relate to experiences beyond this life in a past life. Understanding our past lives helps us to understand ourselves. Lessons which have been hard to learn are re-enforced when we remember our lives.
In the coming weeks I will share with you some life stories from across the millennia that my students have shared with me, along with what they learnt from that life.
Please email me at alison.wem@yoursoulfamily.com or here to let me know whether you resonate with these stories or not and if they helped you to consider your life lessons. I will reply to every email you send me.
Alternatively if you are happy to share your experience, just comment on this article. I will read and respond to each of your comments.
This week’s story…..
Ancient Egypt; Crystal Pyramid Life as a young girl
While much of Europe is still in the Neolithic period of early farmers, the Egyptians have developed a more sophisticated culture. If you include the Greek Ptolemy pharaohs ancient Egypt spans from 3100 BC to 30 AD. The great pyramid of Giza was built 2560 – 2540 BC, there is written language, science has commenced and society is organised. Due to the length of the period many of us have experienced a life in Egypt.
This life story is after 2540 BC as the great pyramid of Giza has been built.
“I am a young girl of perhaps 6-7 years. I am dressed in a simple white dress with sandals on my feet. I have climbed with an older man up inside the pyramid. When I stumble he helps to guide me through the passages. We come to an aperture high up on a pyramid where we looked out across the land. It was warm and pleasant, early in the evening when the work of the day is done and everyone is looking forward to the meal of the evening. Family groups were gathering outside their homes relaxing and chatting together.
With great love this man explained to me the importance of knowledge and how it might help to keep the people and land we love, well and healthy. We had a responsibility to use this knowledge wisely to ensure our people lived good lives. He then tried to convey much information to me. I tried really hard to understand it and remember it as I wanted to please him. However I was young and just could not absorb all of the knowledge and wisdom. I felt that our time together was running out and we would not get the opportunity again for me to learn from him.
This man placed a small, crystal pyramid in my left hand and my hand became warm. If I learnt how to activate the crystal there was much knowledge available to me.”
In this life this student has been attracted to crystal . She knows they are important to her but is not clear as to why. In recent years she has met other students of this ancient Egyptian man and they have shared information and knowledge which has triggered more memories in each of them. They have now recognised a man in this life they all know which is the older man in the ancient Egyptian life. They are working together to expand or perhaps I should say remember the knowledge and wisdom available to them.
Lesson learnt from this ancient Egyptian life:
