Relaxation: learn to breath deeply and consciously

Mindfulness is a commonly used term these days. However it is true that breathing consciously or just being still brings calmness which enhances your concentration, lowers blood pressure and aids sleep quality. All are good for enhancing your performance at work and improves your well-being.

The simplest way to induce stillness is to take deep breaths.

Lives remembered: Crystal Pyramid in Ancient Egypt

As a young girl of about 6-7 years, I climbed with a man to an aperture high on a pyramid where we looked out across the land. It was warm and pleasant, early in the evening when the work of the day is done and everyone is looking forward to the meal of the evening. Family groups were gathering outside their homes.

With great love this man explained to me the important of knowledge and how it might help to keep the people and land we love well and healthy. He placed a small, crystal pyramid in my left hand and my hand became warm. read more

How to Handle a Toxic Manager

Toxic managers can be challenging and also detrimental to your calmness and well-being. I know this from first hand experience. I was a senior executive successfully delivering a business change programme but I had the meanest manager I had ever experienced. He was a short New Yorker who loved to shout and belittle people. Irene Gloux: Spirit Art workshop

What a fantastic workshop Irene gave on using spirit art to understand who is trying to communicate with us and to receive some messages. No artistic skills were needed. However we all managed to draw portraits which looked life like and recognisable by ourselves or the person we were working with.

We did other exercises looking at ourselves from different perspectives, our energy over our lifetime, our aura and sunsets with messangers and messages. Everyone created beautiful pictures which were meaningful to themselves. read more

Why should I create my Soul Map?

Do you have a busy life or feel stressed or anxious? Soul Maps are good for finding your calmness.

The aim of Soul Maps is to;

  • Examine the life lessons and relationships in your life and with that knowledge you can build a holistic picture of yourself and your life.
  • Enhance your conscious awareness of yourself and put you back in touch with your ‘Inner You’, some call it your sub-conscious, higher self or soul depending on your beliefs.
  • Helps your sub-consciousness to guide you in your personal development. It can be used in meditation to assist with hearing messages from your ‘Inner You’.

So what does a Soul Map look like?

Soul Maps are secular in nature but use geometric shapes that are found in many cultures, religions and nations.

Geometry is a universal language that enables you to unlock knowledge contained in your subconscious about the true nature of yourself.  Often there are things about yourself that you sort of know but they are not fully apparent to your conscious you.  There are exercises you can do to make more explicit these things about yourself. read more
