Where do you go when you die?

This is a big question many have asked over the centuries. As people grow older or are seriously ill, it is often a question they ask themselves. When I pass is that the end of me?

As a psychic medium, I might reply – well it’s obvious, we go back to Spirit from whence we came.

But is it obvious?

My husband is a scientist and he always tells me that energy cannot be destroyed. It can change shape and appearance but it doesn’t become void. His example is H2O. With more energy in it, it is steam. With less energy it is water and with even less energy it is ice.

Can this analogy apply to us?

With little energy in us, we are on the Physical Plane in a dense body. But we always have that eternal spark of spirit within us but perhaps it doesn’t shine brightly yet.

When our physical body dies and as we pass, we go to the Astral Plane. We are not in a physical body but an astral one. It has more energy and can change shape so we can be youthful again in the prime of our life. The environment around us is familiar. We meet our loved ones on arrival and can hug and kiss. Isn’t that wonderful.

The scenery around us is familiar too but not exactually the same. We can think it into what we want it to be. A great example a colleague gave me was a soul who built himself a wonderful golf course with sections of it from golf courses all around the world. It was literally the golf course of his dreams. He played there happily until at some point he became bored and then he was ready to move on and learn new things.

He learnt many things from a great teacher. But at some point, he started to see the energy within his teacher’s body. It was like the body was a mask and he realised you don’t need an astral body to be alive. You are able to live in an energy body and experience many wonderful things. He was now ready to move onto the next level.

Can you talk to people who have passed and can loved ones in Spirit talk to us?

We all have the ability to connect with our loved ones in Spirit but it can take some practice. This is why many people use a medium to help with the messages.

My loved ones come to me in dreams but I can’t remember all that they say. What can I do?

Active Dreaming while you are awake is a good technique enabling you to be conscious as you dream. You can also set an intention on who you would like to meet with. The technique has its roots in shamanic practices but has been updated to be more acceptable for people today.

Is there an easy way to appreciate what the After Life might be like?

There is an old but good film called Defending Your Life starring Albert Brooks and Meryl Streep which is available on many streaming services. It gives lots of little messages such as there are many places you can visit in the After Life, individuals could remember the circumstances of their death but not any pain. They take you through a fun life review process.

Take a look and see what you think.
